Ökoweingut Christian Geier
The grapes of the Geier organic winery, which is already in the second generation, have been grown exclusively according to organic principles since 1990. In order to ensure the quality of the multipleaward-winning wines, Christian Geier consistently
limits his yield. In doing so, the young vintner focuses on the classic Tauber-Franconian wines such as Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Bacchus or Pinot Meunier, as well as lesser-known varieties such as Regent or the white Johanniter. These are supplemented by specialities such as his sparkling wine in classic bottle fermentation
or red wine cuvée ripened in the barrique.
The rustic wine tavern is then also opened regularly in spring and autumn. Then the team surrounding Christian and his wife Carolin treats their guests to Tauber-Franconian specialities from the cellar and kitchen. The home-made green spelt fritters and cooking cheese are an absolute must-try.
